The Board of Education will be holding several important meetings on Monday evening at Scarsdale High School:

Public Comment Reminders: Board Business meetings include two public comment periods. Speakers are expected to conduct themselves in a civil manner, and can make public comments on agenda items or other non-personnel related items. In both comment periods, individuals can speak for up to 4 minutes. The first public comment period is limited to 90 minutes so the Board can conduct its business. The second comment period has no overall time limit. Members of the community can also email the Board.

We invite our community to learn more about the financial impact of the proposed 2026 Capital Projects Bond by watching our new video here. If voters approve the referendum on May 19, 2026, the tax impact directly related to the 2026 Bond Plan will not begin until the 2027-2028 school year. The maximum estimated tax impact will occur in the 2033-2034 school year. After the 2033-2034 school year, the tax impact will decrease. In fact, from 2037 through 2045, the projected impact directly related to the 2026 Bond Plan will fall below current levels. This year, the A-School Fair will take place on Saturday, May 16th at 45 Wayside Lane. This is an annual event that welcomes the entire Scarsdale community to raise money for a charity that the A-School students voted on. This year, the proceeds will be donated to the Ocean Cleanup. There will be a car wash, games, raffle baskets, a bake sale, and more activities. Attached is the flyer I made to advertise this event.
