Campus Instruction Training

In this module, we will review the features of the "Campus Instruction" interface in Infinite Campus. Campus Instruction is designed to provide teachers with all of the tools needed to effectively manage classrooms and instruction. Some of the basic features include: defining account settings, viewing rosters, creating seating charts, taking attendance, posting grades, and sending class messages.

Before we begin, please remember the following Digital Citizenship Guidelines:
1. Never share your Infinite Campus password (or other District passwords) with anyone.
2. Do not respond to an email request for your password. The technology staff will never request your password information via email.
3. Do not keep a written record of your password. Instead, you can use a clue that will help you remember your password.
Switching between Campus Instruction and Campus Tools

Teachers should have "Campus Instruction" as their default homepage in Infinite Campus. However, you may need to switch to "Campus Tools" for some functions, like searching for students. Here is how to do it:

To switch to "Campus Tools", click on the program switcher icon next to the "Log Off" button on the top right of your screen and select "Campus Tools"

You can now search for students using the standard search functionality:

To switch back to Campus Instruction, click on the program switcher icon next to the "Log Off" button on the top right of your screen and select "Campus Instruction"

Next, we recommend that you complete the following Study Guide(s). Elementary teachers currently don't have access to the Campus Grade Book. Therefore, the first Study Guide should suffice for them.
