The Facilities Department is responsible for maintaining and cleaning the district’s seven school buildings, as well as their surrounding grounds and athletic fields. While most of this work is handled by the district’s custodial and maintenance staff, certain services may be outsourced when necessary.
Each school has an on-site head custodian, supported by a dedicated custodial team. To accommodate school-related and community activities, custodial staff maintains a flexible work schedule to support building users on weeknights and as needed on weekends.

In addition to daily operations, the Facilities Department plays a key role in district construction projects. The team collaborates with the Business Office, architects, and the district’s construction representatives to ensure that all projects align with approved designs, meet high-quality standards, and comply with state and federal regulations.
