Scarsdale Public Schools

The Scarsdale School District takes pride in providing safe and reliable transportation for all eligible students. Unlike many districts, we own and maintain our own 90-vehicle fleet, which is operated by professionally trained drivers. We transport students over half a million miles each year with an excellent track record for safety.

• District Schools: We provide transportation to all eligible students within the district to and from district schools provided that the student resides within the Scarsdale School District and resides more than 1.5 miles from the school they attend up to a distance of 15 miles.

• Private/Parochial Schools: Transportation is provided to eligible students attending private and parochial schools within a 15-mile radius. *Applications for transportation to private and parochial schools for the following school year can be submitted online between February 1 and April 1; new residents must apply within 30 days of establishing residency in the District. • School Events: Transportation is also provided for extracurricular activities, athletic events, and field trips.

Eligible applicants will be notified by end of August regarding the bus schedule.
