	Public Feedback Session 10/16/25 The first of two public feedback sessions related to a potential Capital Projects Bond has been scheduled for Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Scarsdale High School in Rooms 170-172. The session will include a brief presentation, and the opportunity to understand and discuss the preliminary scope of work recommendations at each of our seven schools. A survey will be distributed to the entire community after that session seeking feedback to inform the process. The feedback will be included as part of an information item at the October 27 BOE meeting. A second session will take place via Zoom in early November. We look forward to your participation in this important process.
	Grades 3-8 2025 Test Results Earlier today, parents of students in grades 4-9 were notified that score reports for last year's state tests are now available via Campus Parent Portal. Dr. McIntosh will be presenting the annual Student Achievement report at the October 27, 2025, Board of Education meeting. That report will provide an overview of student performance, provide an historical context, a comparison with peer districts, and a discussion of measures of student learning beyond annual state assessments.
	Emergency Notification Test Next week, we will perform our annual test of our emergency notification system. In preparation for the test, on Monday, September 29, all parents and guardians will be sent an email via Infinite Campus Messenger to confirm that we have correct contact information, and instructions for changing that information if desired. On Wednesday, October 1, at approximately 4:30 PM, we will use our mass notification platform ParentSquare to send a test phone call, email, and text message. 	Save the Date! Paint the 'Dale, a first-ever community mural event, will take place on October 12, 2025 from 8 am to 1 pm in Chase Park. All residents and members of our school community are invited to participate in this free, family-friendly event where you can help paint a mural and enjoy art activities, crafts, and games.
	Homecoming Tonight! The 2025 Homecoming Football game is TONIGHT! Please come out and show your support as the Scarsdale Raiders take on Suffern High School at 6 PM on Butler Field. Don't forget to pick up the newest Raider gear at the Maroon and White Merch Table by the stands before the game! Go Raiders!
