	Elementary Math Parent Coffee On June 11th from 8:30 - 10 am, teachers, administrators, and math coordinators are hosting an Elementary Math event for current K-5 parents. Please come even if you can't be there for the whole time - a late arrival is fine. You will get the chance to ask questions, and explore the lessons, tools, and assessments we use to support math learning. Learn more and RSVP here!
	FERPA Annual Notice On June 3, the District will be publish our annual Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act notification in the Journal News. This notification is always present on our District homepage under the Popular Links heading. The notification serves as an annual reminder to parents, guardians, and students currently in attendance of their rights under FERPA, New York State Law, and Board Policy, along with the procedures for exercising those rights. As a reminder, parents have the right to opt out of Directory Information, ideally by July 1st in order to process school directories in a timely manner.
	SHS Dance Shines The SHS Dance Team learns and performs a dynamic range of styles each year. This year, they performed eleven pieces total under the joyful guidance of Maggie Bryant. We are delighted and proud to share two of their Modern dances performed this year. Click here to watch these impressive student athletes share their expertise in dance!
	Website Tip - Question? Concern? Our new website launched in early April and includes some new components. One such new page is our *Asking Questions & Reporting Concerns* page. Accessible from the District Information and School Information menus, and at the bottom right of every webpage, the site aims to get you connected to the right person when you have a school-related question. It also contains all the key information about prevention, reporting, and investigating concerns related to bullying, harassment, discrimination, and misconduct. 	Belonging Update The District's work in response to our Belonging Survey continued this year with two main areas of focus - assemblies for our students in grades 6-12, and focus groups at each school designed to deepen our understanding of the survey results. Built around the key Developmental Relationships constructs express care, challenge growth, provide support, share power, and expand possibilities, each of our schools is shaping one or more goals for next year based on this work.
