	Voter Information Now is a great time to make sure you are registered to vote in the May 20, 2025, Budget Vote and Board Election. You can click here to see if you are registered for the general elections, and you can click here to see if you are registered with SUFSD. Not registered? You can register with the Westchester County Board of Elections, file an application with NYS DMV, or register with SUFSD. The deadline to vote in the May 20 referendum is Thursday, May 15, 2025.
	Cell Phone Policy - Please Weigh In As the likelihood of legislation banning student personal electronic devices increases, we are seeking your input on a draft policy that would be consistent with this ban. Whether you are a student, parent, faculty, or staff member, please take a moment to share your thoughts about DRAFT Policy #5695 - Students and Personal Electronic Devices by April 7, 2025.
	Student BOE Members - Coming Soon! A recently enacted state law requires Boards of Education to include at least one non-voting ex officio student member. On Monday, the Board of Education discussed the policy establishing this role and outlining the process. On Tuesday, March 25, applications were emailed to all current sophomores and juniors (rising juniors and seniors). Applications for two positions (1 junior, 1 senior) are due by April 7, 2025 (Scarsdale login required). A school-wide vote of 9-11 graders is set for May 20, 2025.
	Springtime = Gardening! The new Quaker Ridge garden is open for business! Situated within the main courtyard, students were busy filling the planters and planting spring veggies this week—and it’s quickly becoming a joyful and purposeful space!
